Once you have signed up for Okto and created your account, you can get started by transferring tokens to your Okto wallet. There are two ways to do so:
- Deposit tokens from CoinDCX to Okto wallet
- Deposit tokens from an external wallet to the Okto wallet

How to deposit crypto tokens from a CoinDCX account to an Okto wallet?
To deposit tokens into your Okto Wallet from your CoinDCX account, simply follow these steps:
- Go to the Portfolio tab or Home tab on your Okto Wallet account.
- Click on the Deposit button.
- Select the token you wish to deposit.
- Choose “Transfer from CoinDCX Wallet' option from the list of available deposit methods.
- Enter the quantity of tokens that you want to deposit from the CoinDCX wallet to the Okto wallet.
- Confirm the order.
- Your order will be processed. You can check the status in the 'Activity-> Orders' tab.
How to deposit crypto tokens in my Okto wallet from external wallets?
To deposit tokens into your Okto Wallet from your external wallets, simply follow these steps:
- Go to the Portfolio tab or Home tab on your Okto Wallet account.
- Click on the Deposit button.
- Select the token you wish to deposit.
- Choose the 'Transfer from External Wallet' option from the list of available deposit methods.
- Now, you'll be able to see your Okto wallet address.
- You can scan the QR code or copy the public address or share it directly using the 'Share' button.
- Go to your respective external wallet app, add the copied address, and send the tokens to your Okto wallet.
- Your order will be processed. You can check the status in the 'Activity-> Orders' tab.
Note: You can deposit a token from an external wallet using the public address of your Okto wallet. Please make sure that you send tokens only through the chains which Okto is supporting. Currently, Okto supports the following chains: BSC, Polygon, Avalanche, and Fantom, and very soon, we will introduce other chains too.
How to withdraw tokens from my Okto wallet?
Follow the steps below to withdraw tokens from your Okto DeFi wallet:
- Log into your Okto account.
- Click on “Portfolio”.
- Click on “Withdraw”.
- Select the token you wish to withdraw from your Okto wallet.
- Select “Withdraw to CoinDCX Wallet” in case you want to withdraw tokens to your CoinDCX account.
- Select “External Withdrawal”
- Enter the quantity to be withdrawn.
- Swipe to Confirm your withdrawal.

1.Can I transfer fiat to my wallet?
No, you cannot transfer fiat to your Okto wallet. Okto is a self-custody wallet that supports only crypto-to-crypto transactions.
2. Will I be charged any fees for transferring tokens from my CoinDCX wallet to my Okto wallet?
Currently we are not charging fees for transferring tokens from CoinDCX wallet to Okto wallet.
3. Are there any restrictions for Crypto deposits/transfers on the Okto app?
As Okto is a self-custody app, deposit from 3rd party sources depends on the limits set by the 3rd party. For deposits from CoinDCX, CoinDCX reserves the right to enable access for select users. Meanwhile, please feel free to use any external wallet to deposit your tokens and try out Okto. At Okto, We are working hard on getting other on-ramp payment options on Okto that will make deposits seamless for you.
4. Can I deposit tokens/coins from an external wallet to my Okto wallet?
Yes, you can deposit tokens/coins from an external wallet to your Okto wallet.
5. Do I need to set up 2FA for transferring funds from my Okto wallet?
You only need to enter your Okto PIN before withdrawing funds from your Okto wallet.If you haven’t set up your Okto PIN, you need to set it up before fund withdrawal.
